Beef Stroganoff

  • 1 1/2 # lean beef cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 # sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • dash black pepper & worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 oz cubed fat free cream cheese
Combine all ingredients except cream cheese in slow cooker. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Add cream cheese for last 30 minutes and stir until well blended. Serve over cooked rice.
