pancake dippers



This was a pinterest idea.

  • Mix up your favorite pancake batter.  Here's ours (it's thicker than usual so it doesn't spread out too much when you pour it over the bacon)

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1/2 tsp salt 
2 Tbs baking powder
2 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs oil
1 egg
1/2 cup milk

  • Cook bacon until crispy and drain.  Pour grease off pan (this recipe makes 8 dippers, but extra bacon is always good!)
  • Pour pancake batter into a bacon like strip and lay the bacon over the top.  Drizzle a little extra batter to cover the bacon.  Cook until pancake is browned on bottom.
  • Gently flip pancake and cook until done.
  • serve with syrup in little cups for dipping!
