6 cups apples - peeled and thinly sliced (use soft apples not honey crisp or granny smith)
1 1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 Tb cinnamon
1/3 cup of Jack Daniels
In a large pan mix sugar, butter, cinnamon, and Jack. Melt into a syrup. Grease a deep set corning ware dish (2qt). Syrup will boil and bubble in oven; that's why you want to use a deep set dish. Place apples in corning ware. Pour syrup over apples. Mix. Bake in oven 375 for 40 mins.
ENJOY!!!!
