Cut ends off beans and cook until tender (I blanche them for 2-5 minutes)
Cool and drain beans.
For each pint use….
½ garlic clove and 1 dill sprig in bottom of each jar
Pack jar with beans.
Bring to a boil 2 c vinegar, 2 c water, 4T salt, 4t sugar, and ½ t cayenne pepper.
Pour over beans until jar is full and beans are covered. Seal and let sit for 3-4 weeks.
