Sherried Beef

From Aunt Nan

Mix well in a large, covered baking or roasting pan:
  • 3# beef, cut into cubes
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1# sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sherry or red wine
Bake covered at 300 degrees for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours
Serve over noodles and freezes well. Serves about 8.
