Glazed Carrots & Parsnips

This is good, but a little sweet. Maybe some balsamic vinegar? Garlic?

Ingredients
4 Carrots raw, medium
1½ Parsnips raw, 1 cup slices
1 Orange juice, raw, cup, 8 fl.oz
1½ Butter salted, tbsp
3 Ginger root raw, 1 tsp
1 Honey, tbsp
1 Orange peel raw, tsp
1/4 Salt table, tsp
1/4 Spices pepper black, tsp
1 Chives raw, tbsp chopped

Instructions:
Mince the ginger and grate the orange peel.

1. Peel the carrots and parsnips and slice them thinly on the diagonal.

2. In a large saucepan, combiner the carrots, parsnips, orange juice, better, ginger, honey orange zest, salt and pepper.

3. Over medium high heat, cook, stirring occasionally until all the liquid is evaporated and the vegetables are lightly glazed, about 8-10 minutes.

4. Sprinkle with chives and serve hot.
