Also good with same amount of arugula or a mix of both
- 2 c sorrel
- 1 T garlic, finely minced (2-3 cloves)
- 2 T lemon or orange juice
- ¼ c extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ c toasted pine nuts
- ¼ c grated hard cheese (parmesan, pecorino, asiago, or your favorite)
- ½ t salt
- 1 t crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- up to 1 t sugar if tastes bitter
